Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Steeples In My City

.

Church steeples rise over most cities,

Lifting our eyes,
And our hearts,

Toward the Maker of Heaven and Earth,

From Which cometh our Help.

In these days, as in all others,
We are sorely in need of His help.

Hope you enjoyed these Steeples
Found in my city.

We have a lot of the "long low" clubhouse style churches out here in the woods. Only a few of the more traditional style, but a few of those are historic and lovely (hmn, if it wasn't so hot I should grab my camera and snap a few).

I am glad you went on a 'steeple chase." Nice pictures and sentiments.

A very nice post today on church steeples. No mater what denomination it is, steeples always stand out.

What a lovely and thoughtful post. I find churches just absolutely lovely. And they are even better when they help to change people's lives in a positive way. Check out this pic I took of a church in Petersburg, Alaska.

I sent it in an email instead. But now that I did, I realized I could've just sent the actual picture, not just a link in the email. DOH!

Love'em! I'm glad you took the time to notice them and share them :) Our church got a copper steeple a couple of years ago. At first, I thought it was ugly, but now I like it. It sure stands out!

I'm not religious, but that does not stop me from loving steeples. They are beautiful.

I love steeples. I grew up in a church with a steeple and it was the center of town.

I love the weather vane on top of the last steeple, it looks just right perched way up there.

What a neat collection of pictures. I'm kindof fascinated by steeples. They just make me feel a little more peaceful and, of course, point to our faith. Amazing that a piece of architecture could be an encourager.
