Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Orca Goes to Hong Kong

.

One of our favorite places to go for Sunday Dinner is the Hong Kong Buffet.

They have five large serving stations which are just loaded with goodies.

Fisherhubby loves the muscles, so I thought I'd try one of his.

Ewwwwwww - - - it was like wasting perfectly delicious cheese on algae flavored rubber.

Me??? I love the shrimp. All you can eat shrimp.

But as I eat my shrimp, all I can think of is the story my friend Eloise (E-Lois) told me.

She says a certain size quadruple "X" lady was eating in a Chinese buffet. She was enjoying plate after plate of shrimp. Finally the manager could take no more. He went up to the lady and said:

"You ORCA!!" You no eat vegetables!! You must leave now."

Oh dear - - - and I like to wear black and white on Sunday too.

I better eat my vegetables!!!

Funny story. We see an occasional Orca at local buffets too. Darn food is too tasty to just have one plate.

I've never been able to even look at mussels. YUCK! I loved the Orca story. We had a problem once at a buffet here where a big man would go in and eat all the prime rib or roast beef. They finally told him to leave. He sued them! and won! It was advertized all you can eat and he was able to eat it all.

My husband has a joke he tells similar to your story, about someone who overstayed. :-) Of course I can't remember the details. I have only one or two jokes I have learned/remember well enough to tell. My guess is you have more! :-)

Oh my, I do love to eat at the Chinese buffet and OH HOW I love SHRIMP:) Looks like you guys have a delicious buffet, perhaps I can join you there someday, I promise to eat veggies too!

Hopefully nobody will ever call us ORCA:) HUGS!

I love your description of mussels. My sentiments exactly. We used to have a buffet here in town and we used to count the number of patrons who didn't fit into the booths, but had to sit on two chairs at the tables.

An indication that the food is pretty good, I'd say.

I love shrimp as well. I COULD NEVER EAT WHAT YOUR FISHER MAN EATS THO. SO FAR, I HAVE NOT BEEN THROWN OUT FOR EATING TOO MANY. LESSON LEARNED.

Keetha... you make me smile!! I have heard that story too!! Thanks for all your comments on Road Rash 2011 blog! Your are right that others are reading, many are clueless, although I think its pretty simple, when it comes to comments! We are home and I still have two days to blog! I took way too many pictures and internet was scarce in a lot of places! We loved the trip but definitely decided it was a "once in a lifetime" one!! We choose the best of friends to go with, and we are all STILL friends after it is all said and done!!!

That was funny! I'm sure you will never be mistaken for an orca! I don't go to buffets. I always try to get my money's worth and it's not pretty!

We're seafood lovers, but I have to say that when I went to the beach last weekend with my oldest, we sort of overdid it. Really craved a steak on the grill after that outing1
