Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

So Many Firsts, So Little Time - - -

.

Mackinley, face-maker extraordinaire, is experiencing some of life's most exciting firsts.

First two-wheel bike. I predict the training wheels won't last long.

Yesterday it was off to the first day of preschool - - -

Sportin', of course, the quintessential backpack.

Posed for the ever popular "out the door" first day of school photo.

And what about this "cheesy grin" girl??? What would SHE do while her big brother was away at school???

She would be left behind at home, with only Papoo and Kamma for company.

Life is really rough sometimes.

Finally big brother returned - - - and both were soon engrossed, REALLY engrossed in a movie.

The End

AKA

Bottoms UP!

I'd have to agree with the training wheels. They will be history fast! I still can't get over how quickly kids grow up.

That is one BIG week for Mackinley! I think it's exciting for the whole family while kids are learning new things and having new experiences.

Soon enough they know more that we do and are jaded old second graders. Piper got the real prize though---even if you think that you and Fisherhubby are the consolation prize.

We have been seeing you two so much lately, it's REALLY going to be hard when you move away!!! :) Thanks for coming...we love spending time with you both.

Oh, and I didn't realize how tall Mackinley is...he was the tallest one in his class! He looked like he didn't belong...like he was too old or something!

Oh those firsts! The ones that will eventually lead him into the great big world. Bet he loved PS.
They are both precious...though I just don't see how they could enjoy watching TV where they are sitting! To kids, it doesn't matter!
