Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Sure is a Good Thing It's Peaceful OUT THERE - - -

.

'Cause I'm not feelin' it IN HERE.

By "in here" I mean on my insides. They are all tied up in knots and churning every which way but loose - - - and they may churn that way too in a bit.

Oh, I do kid about that last part.

Hubby and I are in Wisconsin Rapids hunting for a place in which to "abode" come November 1.

Here's the PEACEFUL part:

We are camping at Lake Wazeecha. (Pictured in my header.)

I have been wanting to camp here - - - PINING to camp here - - - longing to camp here for over two years now.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think we'd camp here because we were HOME HUNTING! But that is exactly what we are doing.

This is our view from our camper door and a bit to the east.

This is our view from our door and a bit to the west.

Peace.

Quiet.

Loveliness!!!

There are precious few other campers here, I imagine the rain, 50+ temperatures, and the fact that kids are back in school have SOMETHING to do with that.

We don't mind - - - we are enjoying the solitude.

This is how Fisherhubby enjoys it:

He's not having any stomach-in-knot issues over house hunting. His BIGGEST concern is getting a fishing license and finding the nearest bait and tackle shop.

I, on the other hand, am a MESS inside. This looks like a daunting task.

Oh well - - - we didn't plan to actually START the hunt until tomorrow, so I guess we're a little ahead of plan - - -

Stay tuned for the next episode when you will hear Miss Keetha say:

"We found the PERFECT spot."

OR

"We're gonna be living on the streets!"

OR

"Oh well, at least we have our camper,
Wonder how THAT will work out
In negative 20 degree weather this winter?"

I'm sure you'll find SOMEthing - and, your camper is much nicer than a cardboard BOX! Men are not as easily upset when it comes to being homeless. To us gals, our home is our nest!!!

Well, I guess I will go back a see if I can figure out Why you are looking for a home on such short notice! Having moved many times, I can tell you I would not be happy! But, when I was a kid I sooooo wanted one of those campers with the pop out beds! I still think I could get used to it! And you can always drive it to sunnier climes if you don't find something by November! Linda

I'm helping someone find a condo to purchase down here in Jacksonville. My advice...even if you don't want it...don't buy a place you can't see yourself loving. It's always amazing to me when people buy places they know they don't love just because they have a deadline.

Enjoy the hunt. I so wish I was there looking at the places with you. I love house hunting.

"Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?"

there is a shop here locally that sells a trailer like that, it was tempting (you know me who isn't very goo with out doorness, other then the beach) and I almost cashed out the divorce fund for one.. but thought I shouldn't.

We had a very similar tent trailer for a few years and I have to say, I slept so comfortably in that tent trailer that I could actually picture it being our home. However, when awake reality should surely set in. I hope you find the home , yes HOME, you need soon. Meanwhile, remember to enjoy the simplicity of knowing you have a waterproof roof over your head and a comfortable place to sleep, and dare I mention, a man you love to sleep with! More than many in this day and age can lay claim to. You are blessed Keetha, but like you, I hope you find a new place soon!
