Guess Where WE Are????

I'll give ya a few leeetle hints:

We left home this morning at 3 A of M EDST and arrived here at 10 A of M THIS time.

We were pulling a giant "land whale" behind the Dango. (Dango, that's what number two son, Kyle, calls my Durango.)

I'm hearing RAIN on a tin roof, or something very akin to tin.

From most of my windows I can see this.

I'm under some of these,

Walking on some of these,

And soon, very soon I hope, I'll be doing some of this!!!

Unfortunately, it is raining too hard for me to want to get out and about and take pictures - - - so you'll just have to WAIT a while for the REST OF THE STORY.

Meanwhile, remember this little guy???? Well, he DEFINITELY made the trip with me, he's the BEST for resting your neck while sleeping in the car.

Reva said...: Where ever you are, I wish I was there too. Is it below 5,600 ft in elevation? If it is I'm on my way. I need to find places to go fish and camp in (and still be in the hills with creeks and lakes) lower elevation than Colorado Springs. I'm wishing and seeking.
