I just said something in an e-mail to one of my bloggy buddies that I really like, and so with absolutely no humility at all, I am going to quote myself here for all bloggy land to see.
Thankfully, our true roots are in heritage and not things. I just need to keep reminding myself that things are only reminders of heritage. -Keetha Broyles

Well said! Now get those flip flops out and have a great summer!
Hugs my new friend,

Well posted :) (giggle)
Wow, Keetha!! Two lovely coincidences, which I believe are actually "tender mercies of the Lord"! I still can't believe the new homeowner actually read your blog about "the house that Grandpa Mac built".
I know exactly what you mean about the passing of time and how nothing can ever stay the same...except family. I'm so happy for the knowledge that we will all be together one day (forever) in "the house the Lord built". : )
Take care,

"Now who was it that said ...."
Great quote!
Just so you know. I am properly impressed! Great thought with much insight! And, you can quote me on that!
Yep, that is really quite good. And straight off the top of your head? Almost worth a mention in the Oxford Book of Quotations, is that.
Great quote Keetha :) What a true statement, thank you for sharing it with me.
So true my friend, so true!!
Very good quote!!! As my husband often says to me "very humble honey" :)
I think you are on your way to becoming the next Mark Twain!
I love it when I write something that is so truly insightful. I'm glad you tooted your own horn and shared your vision.
