Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Better'n Christmas, Don't'cha Know!

.
This is my FAVORITE desk drawer at school:

It's where I keep all my goodies. These aren't just ANY goodies, these are school supply goodies. I tell you - - - opening a new school supply is better'n Christmas, don't'cha know!

Stickers. They AREN'T just for kids. I put a sticker on every test that is 100% or better (I always include a bonus or two because that's just the way I roll) Even my big "bad" seniors get QUITE upset with me if I FORGET their test stickers!!!

Oh, I totally get this - - - they are so pretty and fun. The stickers, not the seniors - - - though they are a good lookin' bunch!

Transparent plastic rulers. Aren't they pretty? Don't you just want to BEND them???

WELL DON'T - - - they'll break don't'cha know.

Plenty of note pads - - - post it and otherwise. My FAVES are the long narrow ones. I think I must like making lots of lists or something.

These little Bic Wite-Out gems are THE BOMB!!!! You can correct all your mistakes, and the correcting is DRY so you can write on it right away!!! Too cool. This is my favorite brand and style of correcting tape. I bought lots of packs - - - I plan on making lots of mistakes.

So shoot me, I'm human!

I saved the VERY BEST for last.

Sharpie Accent High-lighters.

These things ROCK. I always buy the color variety ten pack. Not cheap, but SOOOOO worth it.

Sharpie - - - oh PLEASE find this post and notice all the GREAT free advertising I'm giving you, 'cause I'd love a free pack (or ten) of these!!!!

Your supply drawer is so neat. I don't have any drawers that are that neat. I'm impressed.

Yes, all these school supplies are COOL STUFF. I taught for 30 years. I know how excited kids and adults can be over a new box of crayons or pencils or big pink eraser, or a new back pack, or a new lunch box, or................... Fun post! ~ Sarah

sooooooooo neat and tidy, I wish my kids teachers sounded so excited.

Does anything smell like 'school' anymore than a new box of crayons? Maybe white glue...but, no, the crayons still win. Course, if you are a preschool teacher...Play Doh could inch on up there!

You are such a cool teacher. Keetha. When I was in school, I always enjoyed the first day because everything was new, uniforms, shoes, and school supplies. Those were the days!..Christine

Gosh, I've missed so many posts lately! Loved the posts on the redwoods, and words (so right on). Both glasses looked great, get two! Different moods ya know.

Isn't is fun meeting up with other bloggers. Nice to meet Kristin and so nice to see Boris and Brunhilda again. I had been wondering what they were up to!

Oh, that piano tapestry is great! But nothing beats new school/office supplies. My personal favorite, brand new crayons! Just like when I was kid.
Hugs,
Dawn

I have a bit of a thing for Sharpies! I would love to have a collection like that but working as I do for the NHS, we get the cheapest of the cheap and we never get nice stuff like this in our stationery supplies!

You and me with the Sharpies - although I hadn't been informed of the Accent High-lighters before! Ooooh, isn't it great to have blogging friends that tell you about Fabulous Items that we have overlooked at the office supply store.

You have a great drawer :) and I think it's funny about the seniors and the stickers LOL

Great organized drawer! Does it stay that way???

I have seen deep discounted school supplies at our Walmart...25 cents for most things, great time to stock up if you have small kids...

I'm out and about reconnecting with everyone. Hope you've been doing well and enjoying Autumn!

Oh I could dive right into that drawer! I LOVE school supplies --used to force my little sister to play school with me!
My favorite store is still Staples -- I just wander around and touch the paper and markers and pens....

Yes, my family does make fun of me.

I love school supplies, too. Although most of the school shopping I do now is in our drawers-there is enough of this stuff in my house to last for YEARS!

Me and my kids would have a blast in that drawer. And I know that Kristin (Goat) would too. What fun! I just want to go draw and color something right now!
