Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

"Team Retreat"

.
You all should know me well enough by now to know that it has to be something REALLY important to drag me away from my beloved NCAA football games on Saturday.

Being invited to speak at a ladies' retreat IS that important.

Here we are, "Team Retreat." Shelli, on the left, is the self-appointed agent, photo journalist, and chauffeur. Yours truly in the center is the speaker. Julie, on the right, is the praise and worship leader. We made a great team, at least we thought we did.

We arrived early to set up before the ladies' came. Then we sat to visit and wait - - -

(I've known Julie since she was a preschooler.)

Here we are enjoying a comedy video and waiting for our turn to go "on."

Julie's turn came first.

She is a very talented little lady, and gives those talents to the Lord with a glad heart.

Then it was my turn to share on the theme of "Hidden Treasure."

The ladies' were a very open and receptive audience. I feel honored to have been given this opportunity.

After a full day of "retreating," I was a bit giddy. (I know you're SHOCKED to hear that!)

Before we left, each lady received her own little treasure chest as a reminder of things learned.

In each chest were sample treasures, both those that last and those that don't.

Tomorrow I will post some pictures of the fun we had on the way home, so stay tuned!

First off I have to say - Love the glasses! I hadn't seen the sides of them yet :) Totally cool.

I'm so glad that you got a chance to do the retreat. I'm sure you gave a wonderful talk and I wished I'd been there to hear you :)

My MSU Spartans won today - two weeks in a row. Wonders never cease.

The three of you look so cute in that picture, all sporting cut glasses. I have been to several reatreats and they are always so wonderful, makes your heart feel so full of Gods love. I really enjoy worship time too!

I can't wait to see tomorrow's post! Notice Keetha's ten dollar bill in her treasure chest. Both Shelli and I got a one hundred dollar bill. =)

Didn't know you were a 'retreat speaker'. My friend, Shirley, is also. I am sure you had inspiring words to say to all.

BTW...I am currently working on post entitled TREASURE. Will post later today.

Looks like you had fun - all three of you. I am shocked, however, that there were no pictures of the food (that is one of the great things about retreat..food and snacks). Bet your talks were great!

TO bad the treasures werent real so you could hawk them off somewhere. LOL. But I guess that you would've missed the lesson. I know it was an honor for the women in attendance to hear what you had to say Keetha.
Looks like a wonderful event!

From the pics, the sanctuary looks like Eau Claire Wesleyan - but that would have been more than a day trip!
