We ate in the College Football Hall of Fame!!!
This would be me,
Pretending to be part of the exhibit.

Also pretty cool that MY team, meaning the one I predicted to WIN, won last night. Go Cornhuskers!!! (Right Cindy???)
One whole wall in the hall going to the Hall (figure THAT one out!) is a mural of my most excellent Badgers. I always like to give the "boys" an encouraging pat on the head as I pass by.
Now, lest you think I totally SKIPPED out on the convention and PLAYED HOOKIE all day - - -

I enjoyed them so much I'm posting this YouTube performance so you can check them out!
And the keynote speaker, Dr. Charles Ware, scored a touchdown with me when he reminded us that we are FRANCHISED - - - BOUGHT WITH THE BLOOD - - - and that the $$$$$$ of millionaires is only CHUMP CHANGE compared with being an HEIR OF THE KING. Helped me put what we do as teachers in small Christian schools BACK in perspective.
Of course - - - we had some fun along the way even while we sat in meetings all day.
Today - - - sessions until 1:30 and then we'll load onto the People Mover and head back home.
Thanks for visiting with us.

You always seem to have a great time wherever you are.
With the whole hall, wall, hall thing I thought I was reading Dr. Seuss.
Now behave yourselves on the people mover ride back. That poor driver.
YOUR JUST TO FUN!
I know that conventions are allot of work but it looks like you had a great time. I bet you had them all laughing!
Go Big Red! (Both of them)...we're Badgers fans here too.
Love your post....so glad that you made it clear you didn't play the whole time! Although you, like me, have fun regardless.
I'd like to go to that football museum. Have you ever been to the Packers Hall of Fame at Lambeau? It's really neat. We've been there twice but, would like to go again.
Take care...hope you can watch some football this weekend! Most likely, we will as it's supposed to be unusually COLD here in Nebraska. (snow tomorrow too)...told St. Jim that I'm drawing the blinds, turning up the heat and playing Island music. Hugs! Cindy
I taught for 2 years at a small Christian school. When we would go somewhere together, it was a party. We never got out much. LOL! Looks like you are enjoying your field trip!
Living it up at Lakewood,
Cindy
OH I'm a huge football fan too!!!! Love it.
Yep, I am a total procrastinator. I HAVE to have company over just so I'll actually clean the house. Sad but true. Our kitchen has been mid renovation since, um, Feb or March and it's still not done. :) Maybe that should have been my goal....
Love the two teacups you received from Granny. They are precious.
Finally, I am in LOVE with your header! What a gorgeous picture.
I see that you chose the frames that I liked!
Great minds?
Cute purse. And I LOVE that black and blue sweater you are wearing. Great fun!
