Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Two Totally Unrelated Thoughts

.

This is how our Youth Pastor preached today:

Oh yes he did.

He mangled his knee in every way imaginable earlier this spring, and is only about two weeks post-surgery.

Several of the teen boys carried in the recliner, side tray, and Mountain Dew just before the sermon - - - making quite a production of it. Might as well make the most of it - - -

And now this totally unrelated item:

In honor of the NFL draft, my feet "sported" these "kicks" all weekend long!

Hi Keetha...

Ohhh noooo...your poor youth pastor! Bless his heart...at least he didn't let the injury keep him from ministry! I'll sure be praying for him, my friend!!!

Warmest wishes,
Chari

I received your surprise treat yesterday...how fun it is! The boys have not seen the beach sand and are very mesmerized by it as well as the shells...and of course those magnetic beads...how cool!!

I plan to pay it forward this week...I have to blog a few days in a row to get folks back hooked on my blog... :)

Thank you!!

I can't find my blog said...

I bow to the master of the football flip-flops.

Love the flip flops! Love that Jeff preached from the recliner! My mom and grandmom were at Westview this morning - said it was pretty interesting!

I had to ask my husband who the two players were that you mentioned on my blog LOL I don't know anyones name. I just cheer for the Green and White!

The pastor - sounds like he's had a rough couple of weeks. How funny about the recliner.

I looked quickly at the football flipflops and thought that they were mini hotdogs! LOL

Jewel, I didn't see your mom at WV. Too bad, I would have liked to talk to her.

Kirby - - - WHAT!?! You didn't know your own QB and RB????

LOVE the flip flops! What a riot! Did you wear them to school? I'm thinking your students would have gotten a kick out of them. :)

Aren't we supposed to be witnesses in whatever setting we find ourselves? Kudos to your pastor for the 'git r done' attitude, and for the teens that helped him.

LOVE the football flip flops! I've made some out of the fun-fur you crochet onto them, but yours are outa sight!

Poor pastor! Of course, he might get used to preaching recliner style! :) LOVE the shoes! Did you make them??? They are just so cute!

I could see an entire sermon revolving around that recliner. It doesn't take a pew to come to Christ - you can pray and ask Him into your heart RIGHT where you are! Including a brown recliner!!

Woo Hoo! I'm pumped up!

...and there's no Mtn. Dew involved..

Oh Dust!!! I LOVE this. I'm going to E-MAIL it to him.

HAHA! Same old Jeff! I am not surprised he did that! I would have loved to have been there to see it in person!

Keetha Broyles said...

And we would have loved it if you were there too!!!

I asked Jeff, AFTER THE FACT - - - what he would have done if I'd walked right down front to snap the picture. He said I SHOULD have and he would have had some wise crack to make about it.

Next time - - -
