Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed reading yesterday's post, "Stars in This Teacher's Crown"! I am now retired but spent several years teaching in a Christian school as well. Whew...there were days that I wondered what in the world I was doing...and then, when these moments come...such as your students honoring you...it makes it all worthwhile!!! Congratulations...what an honor!!!

Just read your note! Wow...in all of my years, I have never met anyone with the same spelling of my name! It's pronounced as "Sherry". My full name is French...Charisse, however I shortened it to Chari while in school. You know how kids never want to write out long names on their papers...hehe!
