Missing Shannon

This post is for Shannon.
All the rest of you may peek in - - -
But it is for my friend, Shannon.

Shannon and I taught together
For the better part of one school year.
Then she went away to become a new mommy.
She would return sometimes to bring me lunch
(Great friend that Shannon!!!)
And we had a couple of "girls nights."

Then she moved away.
Far away.
And she is getting ready (maybe)
To move even farther.

I MISS YOU SHANNON!!!

Today is your birthday.
I just want to do my little bit
To make it more special.
So, since blogging is my spiritual gift,
I'm making this post just for you.
