Someone new has come to live with us! Meet Beauregarde Bearski.
Our friends, Jerry and Connie, just returned from Florida. While there Connie found Beauregarde in a little shop, thought he "looked just like Keetha," and brought him to me.
Why, thank you very much, Connie!!!
Yes, I believe I DO see the resemblance!!! (Do you???) All I need to be his TWIN is the scarf.
No new snow today, just a lot of "digging out."
I saw a black glove in the street a few days ago - - - and now it has surfaced on the TOP of the snow pile the plow kicked up onto our yard as it went by.
I'm loving the blue ski and shadows contrasted with the white snow palate.
Roofs are again piled high with snow, after just a few short days of reprieve.
And the shadow etchings of branches on the snow - - - just beautiful.
I wish my camera could capture the billions of diamonds sparkling across our lawn - - - this is the best I could do, and it's pretty pitiful.
Oh my - - - there's the black top of our patio light fixture which must have blown off in the storm and is now buried up PAST its neck. See if you can find it - - - it's like playing "Where's Waldo."

I like the new bear!
After our warm up, we are now snow free. I think even the dirty snow mountains on parking lots are gone.
Loving the new Bear! So much snow!!
I could see some of those "diamonds" in the snow.
We're all melted now. Such a nice thing after last year's snow that broke every record in history. We deserved that 69 degrees last week.
I love your new bear's scarf.
Welcome, Beau! You're on your own for the scarf though. Just sayin'.
I can see the diamonds sparkling! The snow is so gorgeous!
And I love Beauregarde. He's right fetching with his scarf.
Oooo I love Beauregarde! I can't wait till the boys are old enough to leave my collectibles and antiques alone. For now they are high out of reach and far from little hands and slobbery mouths!
Beauregarde is an extremely handsome fellow - we hope he won't upset the happy nuptial bliss between Mr. and Mrs BearsaltandPepper though... You know what they say... two's company and all that...!
lots of love,
R & Jasper xxx
Where's Waldo...girl you just crack me up!!!
I love your twin Beauregard Bearski. What a great friend to surprise you with it.
God bless ya and have a fantastic day my friend!!! :o)
That's a fine photo, but you are right -- it's difficult or impossible to capture.
Another bear?
As a dweller in the 'Land of 80 degree February', I love the way you talk about the beuty and majesty of snow. It is so beautiful to me, and even though I know there are those who live in it that feel differently, it reminds me of a beautiful white blanket covering the ground, keeping it warm til it is time to 'wake up'.
Glad to meet Beau...and actually, I don't see the resemblance. But, he is a dapper gentleman.
Wow, that's a lot of snow!
What a cute new bear, and I have to say he does look like he was out of place in Florida and needed to move up north. ;)
What a sweet gift, I love your new bear!
Twins! Long lost twins! LOve it!!!
So that's how the new fella came to your place :) What fun. I love the snowy diamonds. I miss that.
