Kayla's Having a Birthday!!

Kayla is my friend Connie's daughter and she will be eleven on Monday - - - she's a real live Valentine!!!

Last evening we were invited to her birthday party.

She decorated her own cake - - - which I think is just lovely.

She blew out her candles - - - it took two tries.

She opened presents - - - don't we ALL love to open presents??? She got a "haul" of great loot.

Her Aunts Mary and Debbie watched. Debbie - - - you little stinker! What are you doing to your "beloved" sister???

These sisters all have deep roots with our family - - - we go all the way back to grade school. Getting together with all of them is one of the things that makes my return to Wisconsin truly a homecoming.
