Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Change - - - She is A Comin'

.

I knew when I lost my job (well, I didn't actually LOSE it - - - my school closed which pretty much ended my employment) that change would be coming.

I never DREAMED how MUCH change.

I never dreamed it would mean I would return to my Badger roots.

Yesterday Fisherhubby resigned from his job in the Marion ER and after working out a 90 day notice he will begin his NEW job in the ER at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

I will be a displaced Badger no longer.

I've already blogged about my connection to Wisconsin Rapids here, and here.

My friend Connie was instrumental in helping Greg secure this new position. Strange and wonderful how the threads of our lives keep twining together. You can read about our twining threads here.

Gadzooks. I don't know whether to thank Connie or sock it to her. :) I'm glad that things are working out for you all, but I'll miss you. We must get together before you depart if at all possible.

ARE YOUR FLIP FLOPS IMPERSONATING LIZARDS OR DID THE LIZARDS EAT THE FLIP FLOPS....OR SOMETHING SILLY LIKE THAT....
GOD DOES GIVE US THE DESIRES OF OUR HEART WHEN THE DOOR CLOSES YOU WERE SO FAITHFUL TOO....(TEACHING OUR LITTLE MONSTERS...OOPS I MEAN ANGELS)
MY SIL HAS TAUGHT AT THEIR CHRISTIAN SCHOOL FOR 25 YEARS AND THEY CLOSED AT THE END OF SCHOOL THIS YEAR AND THIS IS A MEGA CHURCH AND THEY WERE VERY WISE IN THEIR PLANNING AND ONLY ADDED A GRADE A YEAR UNTIL THE LAST 13 YEARS HAS BEEN K-12....EVEN BEING A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH SHE TAUGHT SCHOOL AT...NO ONE SAW THIS COMING. IT IS SAD THAT SO MANY CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS ARE CLOSING...

Not a nice thing to tell the pregnant lady! I'm crying! *sniffle* I'm glad things are looking good, but I will miss your story times and I will miss seeing Greg's friendly face when I bring my children into the ER at midnight.

Hey. Be sure to stop by my house sometime before you move to introduce yourself and see what we've done with the place.

Of course, we're not done, and there's a ladder in the living room, but we're working on it.

I've been unemployed for 2 years with only 4 interviews in all that time. Yesterday I received a phone call that I will be able to drive bus for our local school for 10 hrs a week if I pass a CDL written and driving test. Never thought I'd be so ecstatic over working 10 hrs a week! But, a job is a job! Hope things work out well for you all.

They say, who ever they are, that change is good for all of us. That however is a big move. It sounds as though you would not mind. Whatever works out for you and family, I wish you the best. Since you no longer work, you have really been into blogging. I love it.

Keetha, I am so happy for you...because you sound so happy yourself! Isn't life The Great Adventure? I don't envy you the actual move, but starting anew will be fun and full of surprises.

We want to hear every detail! Are you building a house or buying one?

Sorry to hear about your school and your job, but it sounds like a window has opened to that door closing! Maybe now we can finally reconnect in person! I'm usually over in Rapids the beginning of October for a Celebration SIngers reunion and we typically come over to for Christmas too. The folks are in Port Edwards now...
