That's what Fisherhubby and his friend Mark are - - - happy hookers. At least they've hooked into a TON of fish and are happy.
They wanted to find an infamous tackle shop by the same name which was supposedly located somewhere in this area.
We tried to find it last year, but the directions we were given were a bit iffy.
So the other day we headed out over hill and dale through some of this - - -
And even some of this. Finally, out in the middle of nowhere - - - literally nowhere - - -
We found it. The Happy Hooker. Looks like something straight out of Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss, doesn't it????
Never mind, our hookers were happy!!! Fisherhubby even found some loot to take home.
I was more interested in THIS part of the store. Do you see the hidden person in this photo???
I didn't see her when I took the picture, and you can just imagine my surprise when a lady suddenly appeared over that shirt rack when my camera flashed!!!

The hand pic is too cute! I think my husband would love this shop! He loves him some bait and tackle!
My happy hookers are on their way to the Bay right now! Gonna hook some halibut, tuna, and or salmon.
Bay; as in the one in San Francisco.
I forgot you ain't from around here.

What a great shop! So much fun :0)
Oh, Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss----that's got to be the tackiest spot ANYWHERE! The frogs! the flamingos! eeeuw!
I never would have noticed the stray hand on the floor! Better that it was attached to somebody who popped up and surprised you, huh?
Looks like you are having a great time. I'm glad. I met a lady in Tree of Life the other day who asked me if I knew you when I told her I had worked at Lakeview. Don't remember her last name but her first name was Maggie and she drove a bus. Any memories? I miss you.
Ha! I love it! Happy Hookers LOL
Now that's some funny stuff to see a hand on the floor and then have her pop up - I'm hooting over here. (quietly as my hubbie is sleeping)

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. It's SOOO nice to meet you.
He must be a real devoted little hooker of a Fisherhubby to try so hard to find that place. Do you get to eat any of his catch yet or is EVERYTHING going back in?
We went on a search for a bullet and reloading store in Minneapolis, my husband was so happy when we found it.
Hi Keetha,
looks like your hubby is in fishing heaven!
Enjoy your time in the Northwoods!
It's going to be 90 here today, is it hot that far north?
Hugs,
Cindy
Love the sign, love the store, love the pics!
Glad you are having such fun!
I'm a Etsy Hooker because I crochet and people who crochet are ALSO hookers ;-) and often times happy :-) I'm happy when I'm hookin'
Anyway, that video was so funny. I trust you didn't drive off with a windmill on top of your vehicle? LOL
Hmmm. Picking up her contacts?
Ma! Tell dad we fished off the pier this weekend and I got one massive Pan fish! hahahaha
Chris got a big catfish! and Wade caught a pretty good sized bass...
it was fun!
Then Buckley about gave me a heart attack!!! I had just put the hot dog on the hook and laid my pole down to go get buck bc he had wandered down the pier and when I set him down he smelled the hot dog, went for it, had it IN his mouth and somehow, by the grace of God, I got it out without him swallowing it or puncturing his mouth!!! I had some terrible visions of what that could have done to him....
love you and miss you!
So folks are hiding from yoru photos too? My kids do that all the time.
I so need a happy hooker tshirt. How funny!
So glad that you found the store!
When I first looked I just thought it was a price tag.
