.
And not the funny papers either.
You can read all about it here in the Fort Wayne, Indiana Journal Gazette.
And while the story in the Journal Gazette is one of human interest, and our son's personality shines through in the quotes, it does not in any way tell you all of his story, his determination, his hard work at that Pizza Hut.
That store was on it's last legs. When the "powers that be" of Pizza Hut put our son there as manager it was in a last ditch effort to save the store.
Kelly not only turned it from failure to success, but did so in record time.
I always knew he was able to sell sand in the desert.
We're proud of you, son.

Oh honey, congrats to you for been the mother of this accomplished young man! These days and age, I hate to say it, but people like your wonderful son are getting scarse by the days, people just want entitlements and that's it! Your son is the epitomy of the American way..God bless him in everything he proposes in life dear Keetha. Now I'm going to read the Journal Gazette.
Hugs,
FABBY
On my way to the story :)
How wonderful that you and your husband raised such a exceptional young man! Congrats to you too.
HI KEETHA!!!
I read the article first. Your Son is a Wonderful Young Man. I adore hard working young people who do their job well everyday and all they want in return is Honest pay for their loyalty. But your SON appears to be more then that. He is a FINE decent man who thinks wrong is wrong and it is!!SOme one really should return that painting.....it is NOT there's and they had no right to take it...what is wrong with people these days??????Honestly no one teaches kids to have integrity.......even when NO ONE IS WATCHING do the right thing!!!
CONGRATS to you for a fine SOn!!!!
I have family who live near Fort Wayne!!!I was born in Indiana!!!
hugs,
jamie
How wonderful! I am so impressed and know how proud you are!
Oh what a proud moment for a momma. He did so well, and that means people at that restaurant have jobs, a great blessing.
How terrific. And it wasn't the public records either! Just kidding!!!
Nice! I feel your pride ...
I'm suddenly hungry for Pizza Hut! I really hope the sign finds its way home.
Doesn't make sense why someone would steal that off the wall. I hope they get it back. How wonderful that your son turned that store around. Way to go Kelly!
