For a small town of less than 20,000, I think we have a fair assortment of clock towers.
Just so you know, most of these pictures were taken earlier in the spring when the drought had not yet set in and our grass was still green.
We had a couple of rain showers in the past 24 hours, but not nearly enough to alleviate the dire dryness which abounds.

Wow, I have not seen one in my town! As to drought I would send you all the rain we are having if I could. After declaring back in April our country was in a drought, it started raining and did not stop for weeks. Hope you are coping. Take care. x
Yep, you do have a fair assortment of clock towers! Are they all set to the right time? We have one in the suburb I live and it is rarely set to the right time.
I hope you get some real rain soon.
What a lovely collection of photos. I actually love clock towers. I am inspired to look for them in m town.
:-)

One assumes that the clocks are timely, that is to say, they are keeping correct time? You live in an orderly part of the world. Our clocks amuse me, because I have never seen one that has the correct time.
What a great theme!!! We have several in the surrounding towns but none in ours....my favorites are the bell towers on college campuses...they bring back such a sense of nostalgia for me.
I love clock towers. Your photos look great! During my school days, I used to pass a clock tower en route. It still exists and keeps accurate time. :-) Except it looks a lot smaller, as I've grown up :D
Happy Sunday!
A lovely, and eclectic collection of watch towers. (See what I did there?)
I like the range of contemporary and traditional architecture.
Gorgeous clocks. And I know what you mean about the dryness. Our grass is a crispy, crunchy brown. I've only been spending about 5 minutes every other day to water my flowers and my tree gets any excess water from cooking and stuff.
Love the clock towers. I can only think of one in my town so I will now have to go on a search and see how many I have overlooked.
Thanks for the visits and the comments my way.
Love the clock towers.....I'm sure we don't have many.....if any.
This was a cool idea! It's kinda creepy that I saw a clock tower today during a walk and I thought it would make a cool blog page. ;-) I'm not kidding you!
clever idea of subject to photograph....I like it...
Beautiful.
Are they that high so you can tell what time it is, even after the snow comes?
I like this concept. I may try it here too. Time will tell (pun intended.)
So many in your town...In Helsinki I know one clock tower but we have more than 500 000 citizens.
I need to open my eyes for clock tower hunting :)
Have a good week!
That is pretty cool Keetha!
I will have to check that out next time I visit!
We got about an inch and a half of rain and our yard is actually greening up a little bit/.
Our fair ended yesterday and now I am looking forward to actually getting away with hubby for a few days.
We still need to have you over, let me know when that could work.
Dan is going to Spooner this weekend for his guy get together/fishing etc.
Hugs,
Cindy
Those are neat! I especially like the one third from the top. I live in a city of about 150,000 and I'm not sure that I could come up with as many clocks as you! :)
Wow, you do have a lot of clock towers. Love the old fashioned one. Now my question are the clocks synchronized. :D
Timely bunch you all are. Here's to rain coming to you in abundance, but not too much, just enough.
I think it's fascinating to have that many. Hopefully everyone is on time. Haha.

The closest town with a clock tower is Clover, SC. You have made Wisconsin an interesting place i would like to visit.
What an interesting post!

I do not think our city or PHX for matter and we are WAY over 1 Million people have that many clock towers...now I will be looking!!!!
Glad you got rain......IT IS HOT--EXTREMELY HOT here this week....115 by Thursday!!!!!Glad we are headed to the beach for 4 days...the only way we survive is to get out of here once per month!!!

jamie
You do have a great mix of clock towers, Keetha. It looks as though you need not wear a wristwatch - there's always a clock tower within view.
Be well.
