Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Turning Point

.

"Thinking about it, she decided that perhaps yesterday had been the turning point, although she had not recognized it as such."
- - - Elfrida
in Winter Solstice
by Rosamunde Pilcher

Turning points.

Sometimes I rush to meet them with eager and hopeful gaze.

Sometimes, like Elfrida, I fail to recognize them until I'm safely on the other side.

Sometimes I try to ignore their existence, I'm rather comfortable with my head in the sand.

And sometimes, I know they are coming and that they will be very painful and I pray that there will be another way.

(This pensive post was inspired by the quote, fed by past life experiences, and not written in dread of any turning point looming on the horizon - - - that I'm aware of YET.)

Oh dear--I hope there'll be another way too.

I must mention that I love Rosamund Pilcher. After I finished her books, I found Marcia Willet (the English version of Rosamund) and am enjoying her books as well.

Best,
Bonnie

Oh just remember, my dear Keetha, that God does not give us more than we can handle. My two turning points of the week...Bean rolled over for the first time and Jack turns a whopping 2 years old in a couple days!!!

I'm sure there's one down the road for me somewhere. Just pray I can face it with grace.

I guess life wouldn't be life without turning points. Things would be so predictable and boring!

Well we are definately in the middle of one right now.
I keep thinking of the serenity prayer.
Are you getting more snow?
I just woke up and fed Addison (who is staying overnight) and see it is snowing like crazy.
Will winter ever end?
Hugs friend,
Cindy

I'm not thinking much about turning points but I do love Rosamunde Pilcher books. I especially love the fact that the a character can seriously be named Elfrida!

Turning points can be hard. Praying we can handle all that cross our path.

I was concerned there for a moment. I'm glad all is well.

I love Rosamunde Pilcher, and Winter Solstice is my favorite by her. Thanks for reminding me of it!
