.
Again today I am linking to the No Rules Linky Party over at "Wit Behind the Ears".
Unfortunately, I'm coming real LATE to the party - - - but then, you know who you're dealing with here.
A while back, I noticed a "Show Us Your Rooster" Linky party.
At first I though, "Man, I WANT to play, but I don't even HAVE a rooster!"
Then, in a flash of brilliant revelation, I realized I not only HAVE a rooster, but I have the QUINTESSENTIAL DEFINITIVE rooster.
As I went about the process of thinking through this post (oh yes, my dear bloggy friends, much as it may not SEEM like it, I ABSOLUTELY think through my posts) I realized I do have a more traditional style rooster in my home. This rooster:
The chair cushions on our little Seller's Table set boast roosters.
However, these are simply too banal to even display on a blog, much less a post for the purpose of SHOWING OFF roosters!
No, mes amies, the rooster I wish to highlight is the most perfect strutting fowl stud to ever grace the face of this planet!
He has feathers galore.
His comb simply glistens like a crown atop his banty little head.
And his wattle, well - - - I doubt you've ever seen a wattle anywhere to compare.
When he crows, it wakes the neighborhood, as should the cock-a-doodle-do of any upstanding rooster.
I give you, rooster specimen "A" - - -

Hahahaha! Thanks for the wonderful laugh!! I must say, I hope they are both much quieter than a real rooster! :) It's funny, b/c I could sneak upstairs right at this very moment and get the same exact picture of my husband doing the same exact thing: I even know where my daughter's tiara is, although I think her feather boa hit the trash can some time ago.
Oh, and I went to Northland Baptist Bible College, you asked earlier. I think it has changed to Northland International Institute something or some other different name like that: in Dunbar, Wis. It's not real big; you may not have heard of it.
Anyhow, thanks for the good laugh! :)
That is hilarious! One heck of a picture. I also like those cushions.
You make me laugh first thing in the morning! I love Fisherhubby all dressed up and dreaming of being on stage:) Enjoy your Saturday, HUGS!
FisherHubby, and he's lookin' good! I live just up the road a piece form Farmerwyfe's alma mater.
By the way, I think your chair cushions look mighty comfy.
Oh my, lol, yes snort and spit indeed! How funny! Love his natural habitat!! Keetha you crack me up!
Ahhhh YOU ARE AWESOME! And my hero!
Pink is his color!
I love, LOVE that you did this! You can tell by all of the exclamation points that I'm leaving, :-P
I've always wanted to join table scape Tuesday with a shot of my family eating on paper plates and mixed matched cups... but that one is so obvious, surely it had been done before.
Yours however? I can definitely say that yours is the first hubby I've seen all decked out in his feathered best.
PS) Love the way you write, reminds me of Dawn, who I'm missing right now.
I guessed right!!! I feel quite pleased with myself :) But I have to tell ya, I still laughed when I saw the photo lol
I am wiping off my screen as I type! Funny!
Hope your rooster doesn't feel his hen just laid an egg.
