Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

We Saw a Bear!! We Saw a Bear!!!

.

First trip into town.

Just on the edge of town.

A nice fluffy bear ambled across Old Hayward Road right in front of us.

Excitement and "pound its" all around.

Of course, he didn't sit at a picnic table like this - - - at least I didn't see him do it.

A black bear. That's what we have in our neck of the woods in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Have not seen one, but last summer one visited two of our neighbors 2 houses up the hill from us.

Glad you have arrived and to think a "bear alert" on the 1st down town trip. That must have been an exhausting trip tho. Now you can relax & enjoy. Where is pic of swollen feet and eyes?

Whew, sure was glad to see this post. I will rest easier tonite. Thanks!!!

Darn I was all excited and was hoping you had lunch with him at the picnic table. Oh well...crossing the street was also pretty cool.

I would love to see a bear in the wild .. my dad has property/cabin in the west end of the UP in MI and sees them often but I've never been lucky enough. I did see a bobcat once and that was pretty luck because they are extremely elusive.

Oh my, that is always exciting!

I don't want to see a bear in the wild...I've watched too much TV and I'd be a bit of a basket case. I'm afraid of bees and they don't have claws and teeth and weigh more than me!
