I just stepped out onto the cabin deck and the aroma of grilled lamb chops wafted to me in such an overpowering way I IMMEDIATELY thought, I WISH I could post that aroma on my blog.
Scratch 'n sniff blogging - - - when do you suppose blogger will offer us THAT option????
I keep dreamin'

I've long been waiting for someone to come up with a way to add smell to computers. Several times I've tried to purchase fragrances online but really now - who would do that? Seriously, can you select a fragrance based on a description that reads fresh citrus scent with a hint of orange blossoms, or musky, amber, woodsy. Wouldn't it be great to be able to scratch and sniff!!!
That's like Emeril Lagasse's (sp?)Smellovision! That'd be too fun, wouldn't it? Ya never know!
My husband was with me when I went to pick up some photos and as we were leaving he said - "I want to eat dinner tonight at the place that smells so good!"
I didn't smell it (totally stuffed up nose) but he told me it was grilled steak he was just sure. So we went to our appointment and then went back to Ted's Montana Grill for dinner. He got a grilled steak :)
I would turn off the smell option on my computer since I'm allergic to most fragrances, but I'd turn it on for the smell of food. Yummmy!!
You have my permission to invent that, Keetha :)

BE careful what you wish for! Just sayin not all the 'smells' might be nice.
It may not be that long. I just saw a little blurb about scratch and sniff wallpaper!
Grilled lamb chops? I've never smelled them. I guess I've missed out.
Sounds good to me:) I am smelling freshly brewed coffee right now, that's a good smell!
Have a blessed day and let me know when scratch-n-sniff is ready:)
I was previously a reference librarian and I still do some trademark searching (I love doing trademark searches). Anyway, I noticed this morning that there is a class or category for:
Interior design services in the nature of aroma consulting services in the selection and use of aromas for hotels, casinos, resorts, conference facilities, retail stores, sports and fitness centers, spas, health care facilities, residential buildings and private residences
Interesting career...
Al it would take is an enterprising woman and we would have SMELLY TELLY. Or PONGY POOTERS. I don't think a man could do it. Come on Keetha, I'm right behind you. Bill Gates eat your heart out!
Let me know when they get around to inventing that!
Not going to happen!
Hope your dinner was awesome.
