Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

"Scene" in the Northwoods

.

Things/places I "spied" out and about in the northwoods.

I believe this is what you would call a northwoods logging country plant-elabra.

Very inviting spot to rest, read, or relax after a day of stenuous leisure.

A very inviting spot to sit, eat, and drink after a day of very stenuous leisure.

Three wild turkey chicks disappearing into the grass. These chicks are QUICK. I really tried to get their picture while they were still crossing the road - - - but as you can see, I failed.

"On Wisconsin!!"

"Home" for two weeks.

That plant-elabra is great! What fun. I wonder whose idea this was - I can't tell if it was a female thing or a male thing LOL

Great reflections on the water :)

So happy you can find some shade after that strenuous leisure.

Oh shoot, I LOVE that planter. That is just genius! I wonder what the Property Owner's Association would think if I plunked one of those in the middle of my yard. What a tempting thought.

The second from bottom pic.........I WANT! Stunning! LOve it!
I had a ginea (femAL TURKEY) CROSS IN front of me the other day. I stopped and out came five babies! Whata nice surprise. Further down the road a doe. Tom asked me if it was walking with a limp. He hit a deer a few weeks ago. Or I should say the deer hit him. He came to a stop and it still ran into him, slid across his hood and windshield, bounced into a ditch, got up..looked back at him and went into the woods. Was glad the deer made it ok. His car, not so much....$3,000 in damage. Thankful for insurance. And all is well now.
