Today in my city ice fishermen continue to apply their craft in SPITE of sunny skies and temperatures warm enough to melt, not freeze, the ice.
This little guy, Dane, is a fisherman in a bucket.
;-)
While a mere 425 miles away in her city, my little gran, Piper, sips her hot chocolate totally unaware that such a thing as ice fishing even exists.
Oh, but one day her Papoo will educate her on the subject, I'm sure!

nice shots! :)
Our world is a big place to explore different ways of lives...Happy Sunday!
I could never get the hang of ice fishing - never caught a thing (except frost bite and a cold).
Even with the warm temps, ice fishing still looks too cold for me. I'm more a hot chocolate gal like Piper.
Brrrr! Have a great week!
One day she will have a unforgettable icy date with Papoo. Love the name.
Sweet post! I do enjoy fishing but I don't think I could do it on the ice in the Winter. Burr.......
Piper looks adorable as always!
That kid in the bucket is soo cute!! Definitely something Mack would do. :) But, bless his heart, the bucket would fall over and he would have his leg rammed down into the fishing hole in all of about 30 seconds (Uncle Kelly genes!). hahaha :)
Sweeties, in the bucket AND sipping hot chocolate:) Enjoy your day my friend, HUGS!
Will she be allowed to ice fish while sipping chocolate?
