Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

The African Critters Find a Home

.
On Monday while Fisherhubby was busy taking care of the injured and ill (and those who just thought they were) in the ER, I took down, packed away, and stored my Christmas decorations.

Yes, SISTER PAM I did it already - - - Monday was JUST January 3. Some kind of record for me.

I have since regretted it sorely. I MISS the splash and dash about the place that the holiday decor items bring. But it is a done deal for this year - - - next year I shall return to my proclivity of leaving them up until mid-to-late January or EVEN early February.

Anyway, during that process I wanted to find a prominent home for the new African Critters who arrived during the holidays. They needed a special place all their own.

They found their habitat on the sofa table near the African elephants, but not TOO near since the elephants rather outsize them. Seems the sofa table has become a savannah!!

Miss Giraffe DID have one eensy teensy weensy little problem. Seems she doesn't have good balance on those thin shapely legs of hers! She was in constant danger of falling and breaking her equally thin and shapely neck!

But, I was UP to the challenge.

I gave her blue toenail polish - which is actually a tiny dab of sticky tack under each tender hoof.

Now she stands with the BEST of them!!

Thank you favorite DIL for the new term to describe my "disease"...proclivity to procrastinate....love it (the explanation) and I got it bad!! Didn't even have to go to ER for diagnosis.

All of decorations are down except the winter village on top of the entertainment center! I can't decide whether to put my elephants, giraffes and tigers back up there or something differnt for a change! How about us having those same animals? Love yours! Have a blessed evening! HUGS!

Ever so resourceful you are, must be the teacher in ya:) Decorations are still up here, and will probably stay till February. Just can't bring myself to take them down yet...Plus I'm too busy working in the office for the new year and trying to catch up on editing pix!

I am sooo impressed, sister of mine! Now, if the Naples area would just de-Christmasize already - it's driving me bananas!!

PS: I must confess, I'm a little concerned for the miniature tea cup in front of your stampeding elephants.

I was going to tell you about that sticky tac, but you beat me to it! Great idea! I think thats a great place for them. You could even add some bulap and trees or plants and make them feel even more at home. My Christmas is half up and half down, but I seem to be missing some of my marbles...so until I find them... nothing is going anywhere. And, that's just find.
