Thrifty Vintage Thingies - I Feel Like Travelin' On - - -
I'm linking today with Vintage Thingie Thursday at Coloradolady and Thrifty Thursday at Bloggeritaville.
Be sure you click on both of the above links to check out what everyone else is posting.
Oh girls, just LOOKY what I found in the baggage area of the Indy airport:
Aren't these just the key-utest things you've ever seen made from vintage luggage???
And I want you to know that I braved the scorn of my students - - -
Just to stop and get photos of them for Thrifty Vintage Thingies. What do students know anyway - - - they're only KIDS for Pete's sake, what can they know of the IMPORTANCE of blogging?????
And I truly do HATE to admit to you that I did NOT have time to stop and check out how they were held together.
I found it interesting that there were no signs saying "keep off," so I can ONLY assume they are safe to sit upon.
Have a great Thursday!!!!

hilarious! How awesome and ironic and super cute is that!!?
That is so very cool!! Love the vintage luggage turned into seating.
People are so clever. I love them!
Oh goodness, I want to make some!!! Thankfully you braved the scorn of your students - that seating is a must see and a must photograph!
Thank You!
Perfect airport furniture! Those are fun to look at!!
What a cool display...and I love all the colors. I imagine thy are reinforced inside with metal or steel! If they were made out of XBoxs, cell phones or iPods, the kids would have been right there beside you taking photos!!
Those are phenomenol!!! I use suitcases quite a bit for decorating. What a creative person to put those together. thank you for your post today, music really does speak to the soul.
I forgot to mention that my sister lives at Heritage Lake near Coatsville. Been up there plenty of times.
Well if that don't beat all! Loved those vintage suitcases, and curious which airport they were in?
Thanks for leaving a comment on my VTT post!
Hey, I'm looking for a couch for my apartment next year - looks like my problem is solved.
Also, blogmomma now has a blogson (if I can remember to update regularly.)
Check it out.
WOW, Indy's airport has got to be the coolest! I love these, although I would be afraid to sit on one, because I'd probably cave it in!
Happy VTT!

I couldn't help noticing the Samsonite pieces...I have a gold/yellow make-up case just like the arm rest of the first chair. :)
Very cute and creative! Glad you took the pics!
Very cool! I wouldn't mind having those in my living room!
