Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

This One's For You, Dar!!!

.
Once upon a time back in the day when eating out was a once or twice a year huge big deal, three little girls went to the dairy to pay the monthly milk bill with the father of two of the girls who also happened to be Uncle John to the third.

While Uncle John paid the bill, the three girls pressed their noses longingly to the glass of the freezer case dreaming of an ice cream cone. Perhaps because the day was so hot, but probably because his little niece was along, Uncle John decided this WAS the day for that treat.

Three one-scoop chocolate ice cream cones were dipped and delivered into three pairs of anxious little hands.

As the girls walked home, savoring every lick of the rare treat, they decided that THIS was the best chocolate ice cream they had EVER tasted.

It was bliss.

Days flowed into months and months into years until the three little girls had families and milk bills of their own. Still, when they met, they reminisced of that special day and the chocolate ice cream that was the best of all.

This is NOT that ice cream. It does NOT come with the love or the memories.

BUT - - - the taste? It is as close to that impossibly good chocolate ice cream as one could ever get.

How do I know? Because I was one of those three little girls and when I eat THIS ice cream, I am back walking down those childhood streets licking that "one most wonderful cone in all the world" all over again.

What a lovely childhood memory to have and what a treat to have Ben & Jerry's whenever you want now that you're a grown up girl!

I get the same feeling whenever I think about banana ice cream. My mom's cousins would make it out on the farm whenever we would visit. I've never had it before or since but just thinking ab out it takes me back to that farm.

This is actually a magical ice cream. Bet ya didn't know that!!! It also fixes fights with your husband, soothes those 'fat days' pain away, and is a perfect addition to watching your fav. RV episode!

It is terrific! And, useful for all of the above...and for reliving sweet memories from childhood!

Ahhh. Great memory. Funny, I was just thinking back last night how my stepmother used to stop at a little ice cream stand every Saturday after my gymnastics lesson for us to get a treat.
