Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Sunday Reruns - The First Time Ever I Was Tagged

.

Don't you just LOVE bloggy Sunday reruns!?!

What a great chance to repeat a "blast from the past." Thanks so much to Chari over at Happy to Design for hosting Sunday Favorites.

"I Was Tagged"
(First posted 6/14/07)

By Deb.

I don't really understand this process, but I believe I'm supposed to say 8 little known facts about myself. So - - - let's do this the Dave Letterman way:

8) There is so much hair on my unshaven legs they have often been mistaken for a forest.

7) My parents were NOT expecting me to be a boy, I was going to be Keetha Denise only if I was a girl, and Joseph McClellan if I was a boy.

6) The "Keetha" part of my name is the feminized version of my father's middle name - Keith.

5) In spite of #7, I'm the only son my parents ever had.

4) I love trains. Someday I'd like to take a vacation on a scenic train, maybe in Europe.

3) I've never been to Boston in the fall.

2) I once got lost on a motor scooter in Rome.

1) I was once charged by a real, live, in the wild, ANGRY, African elephant, and barely escaped to tell you about it. (Totally true - - - and I NEVER lie)

Now - - - I think I'm supposed to tag someone. If you are reading this, and have not yet been tagged by another - - - consider yourself so tagged. :-) (You don't really have to consider yourself tagged since this is a rerun post.)

I wondered about the name 'Keetha'. How neat! And, an elephant? Are you sure? :)

Hi Girlfriend...

Ohhh my gosh...you always, always...put a smile on my face! Hehe! Girl, I was wondering where "Keetha" came from...that's awesome!!! Okay...you've sparked my curiosity about getting lost in Rome on your motor scooter...do tell more! Hehe! I'm sure that would be an interesting story! And...being charged by an angry African elephant??? Girl, you're just full of wild stories...we want to hear the details!!! Hehe!

Well my friend, so happy to have you once again for Sunday Favorites...you know, it just wouldn't be the same without you!!!

Have a super Sunday!
Love ya,
Chari

PS...I did take a train from Interlaken, Switzerland all the way to the top of Jungfraujoch...the highest "lookout" point in the Swiss Alps! It was the most scenic trip that I've ever taken...we were on an old cog track train...it was awesome!!!

So many things to comment on:
1-Sounds like you've been (were) listening to a little too much Veggie Tales.
2-I never knew that Keetha came from Keith, but I like it even more now that I do.
3-Motor scooter? In Rome? Do tell! Because the one and only time I tried to ride one I got so scared I turned it back in after about 15 minutes. I was in Mexico.
4-Elephant? You need to revisit that story, for sure.

well, Hi there, Keetha, you sure have some interesing things to share. I recently received my first award and had to answer 7 questions, nothing nearly as interesting as yours I'm afraid. I'll have to try harder next time, I guess! But who could beat the elephant story?!!
Thanks for visiting, yup that's the view from my front door. Pretty nice, I never take it for granted. It's even prettier now in the fall, with the trees changing colors. (I'm posting pics of that on Wed!)
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Really? An elephant?/
I didn't even know they got angry!
Were you in Africa?
More on this story, please!

Oh, and I'm SO glad you made it out alive. :)

I think the elephant saw the hair on your legs and thought it was a mouse. Eeeek.
(Yes I know they aren't really scared of mice. Hairy legs yes but not mice.)

Our legs are twins.

My mom thought I WAS a boy so the only name she had picked out was John Michael. She named me a few days after birth after the wine she was drinking.

Though I am a hapless pirate, I HAVE been to Boston in the fall and my husband plays drums with Boston upstairs in the music room.

I was once charged by an angry american credit card company, but I fought them off with a broom.

I didn't know your middle name was Denise! My parents almost named me Denise rather than Keetha.

I have a fourth cousin whose name is Keitha, which is my mom got the idea.
