The Comfort Suites looks like an upscale fishing lodge.
You hear a loud racket, look out your window, and see this parked below because - - -
Your downstairs neighbors arrived on these!
When you leave a snow covered church, you realize your RED car is red no longer. (That would be SALT folks.)
And finally, you KNOW you're in the Northwoods when McDonald's looks like this:

WOW!!! That is crazy!!! Love the lodge look and the McDonald's sitting area!
Your are definately in the Northwoods! Love the McDonald's, I like when they design them to fit into the nature of things.
I have a lot of respect for all you who live in the snow! I don't think I could do it. Very cool McDonald's. I just hope the prices don't reflect the ski chalet decor!
Brrrr! Everything looks so cold!
You know what? You may have come up with an interesting blog carninval... Show Us Your McDonald's! They are so different everywhere that you go.
Enjoy your travels Keetha!
Beautiful area wherever you are!
Loving following you around the Northwoods! Now THAT'S a McDonalds that I would love to visit! Have a blessed day dear Keetha! HUGS!
Love following you around via blogland, Keetha. I have never seen a McDonald's like that and the Comfort Inn..I could move right in for the winter!
What fun to be able to figure out the room you were in @ Comfort Suites. I'm sure you took advantage of being so much closer to the pool and fitness room than we were on our trip! hehe (I much prefer the green lawn over the white lawn look.)
The Northwoods sure looks like a neat place to visit. Love the McDonalds!
I went back...waay back...to the place where they have special dishes for cheese. And, I have nothing about curds except Little Miss Muffett who sat on a tuffett..only she ate curds and whey! you ain't got no whey? Love the motels and the restaurants...but whatever is that lefscary stuff? Never mind...I don't think I want any/ You have such beautiful snow. And,I think it would be a really great place to visit...with someone to lead me in the right directions. Does Mc Donalds have a fish fillet? Well, I feel like I've been on vacation now. And guess what? I'm going to watch a ball game tonight! Auburn and some body...ducks or something. I don't know. But, it's aa big deal around here.
Happy Monday!
I think I'd LOVE to come visit you! It's just beautiful! Love the McDonald's. I just don't know if I could handle the COLD. :)
Your surroundings are looking a lot like Yellowstone Park! I had fun catching up on your happenings.
Happy belated birthday. My daughter's bd is Jan 2nd. Poor girl. Nobody wants to party on that day!
Are you adjusting to your new home? Sounds like it! Looks like it, too!
What ARE you going to do when fb season is over?!
We had snow on New Year's day but it didn't last long.
Here's something I NEVER thought I'd say: I love winter!
Crazy! That McDonalds looks comfy though! :)
Looks like you are on vacation.
