Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.
All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.
Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.
For those of you still waiting I say thank you.
Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Quotes of Note
You're born a male but you have to CHOOSE to be a man" - Herm Edwards
"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that" - Unknown
"They err who think Santa Clause comes down through the chimney; he really enters through the heart." - Mrs. Paul M. Ell
"Thankfully, our true roots are in heritage and not things. I just need to keep reminding myself that things are only reminders of heritage." - Keetha Broyles, June 21, 2010
"Tears lubricate the soul." - from "Finding Buck McHenry"
"Somehow you must come to understand that God is love, that love is the proof of God, and forgiveness is the proof of love." - The Priest in "Levi's Will" by W. Dale Cramer
"The truth about a man is in what he does, not what he says." - W. Dale Cramer in "Levi's Will"
"Fairy Tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten." - G. K. Chesterton

Sound very cozy indeed! Love the fireplace!
I'm sure sorry about yesterday's Colt loss though. And the Saints! What's up with that????
Well, no snow here, but cold. I'd still like a fire! :( Oh, well, I'm too lazy to build one by myself! My husband actually had the gall to go back to work today!
The the snow crystals illuminated - if you put a little heart shaped filter over your camera lens, you can turn them all into hearts instead of circles. Oooh, wait -- Maybe you can make a football shape!!!
Oh sweetie, ya'll can keep it. I dislike (HATE) doin' chores 'round the Ponderosa in the snow. We just had a dusting for Christmas but we have another storm moving in the middle of the week in the Ozarks.
It looks like ya'll had a blessed Christmas. Here's wishing you a wonderful New Year!!!
Even with a yrs. worth of snow this month alone, I too sing, "let it snow". But, I may be cocky as we own a marvelous black Chevy Silverado Z71 with 4WD! Aren't these grand days with the football. I'm in heaven!
OK now THAT is what the season is all about (well, other then the religious stuff and all that!) -- it's about kicking back AFTER the 25th, with comfy clothes and the tree lit and little piles of presents here and there, and leftover cookies (especially leftover cookies -- they don't have to be homemade) -- and SLIPPERS (I love slippers), AND knowing that your husband is outside clearing the snow, and you are not.
Sweet.
And I am leaving my stuff up and proudly Christmas-y till the 6th -- but then, we don't decorate till almost mid-December.
I had a wood fireplace growing up and I loved it so much. I used to go 4-wheelin with my parents and siblings to get wood in the mountains. I was sad when we got rid of it, I like yours in the background of your snuggie

Ann, you GO girl!!!
Looks fantabulous!!! I'll bring the caramel vanilla lattes in clear glass cups with snowflakes etched on them and homemade cookies:)
I could feel the warmth!
That is the best way to spend your time with a snow like that. We had snow, but nothing compared to yours. Take care.
Ain't Christmas Break great! Enjoy your comfy seat by the fire and tv for another week!
And aren't you glad you're not running the snow blower and that you don't need gas powered toys?
