Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Let's Go Fraggin' Now! Everybody's Learning How! Come on And Fra-gari With Me!!!

.
Friday Frags are so fun and so happy they just make me want to sing.

OK - - - so I made the whole Beach Boys Surfin' song a tad cheesy - - - but when you come here you get eclecticity AND cheesy all in one fell swoop.

It's sorta what I'm known for.

If you're new to Friday Fragments, I suggest you surf through the fragments riding the waves of your mind, dump them all on a board, and come fragging along with us!  You'll find links at the end of this post.

When we got home from vacay last week Eric, a high school friend of mine, was in town.  Fisherhubby and I met him for lunch on Sunday.

We had not laid eyes on each other since graduation in 1972.

I had to text him a picture just so he'd be able to FIND me in the restaurant, because you know I've changed a teeny weeny bit in the 2 or 3 or 40 years since high school.

What a fun visit.

I have concluded that we really should go BACK to high shool - - - well the social part of it anyway - - - when we're adults and are over all those difficult peer pressure and other negative factors that can soooooo complicate high school.

My friend Eloise, pronounced E-Lois, had a birthday recently.  I gave her one of the two tea cups pictured here along with this little rhyme:

Think of this
As a friendship tea.
A sort of promise
Between you and me.

You will have yours
And I will have mine,
Both exactly alike
And both so fine.

When I dust mine
And you dust yours,
We'll know to pause
On grateful shores

'Cause you'll think of me
And I'll think of you
And know our friendship
Is truer than true!!

I know my friend very well and I told Fisherhubby as I was getting the gift/card ready, "This might make Eloise tear up."

I was right.

This is what we came home from vacation to.

The mid July Wisconsin Rapids dry spell is killing our lawn AGAIN.

Oh - - - but I'm not complaining 'cause it is SO MUCH less dry this summer than last.  This is just pretty much status quo summer dryness around here.

No we do NOT water our lawn - - - we rent and only have city water.

That's just BULL!!!

(For those of you who mistakenly called HIM
a cow in an earlier post.)

.
Our friends, the Woods family,  have gone on a REAL Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss vacation this week.
.

They've got the fishing - - -
.

The little lakeside cabin (though NOT named Mildred or any other girl name, at least that I KNOW of) - - -
.

And even the antics to go along with it.

I do not know if on the way they succumbed to buying a huge lawn ornament and strapped it to the top of their vehicle or not.

Nor can I tell you if they were sprayed by chicken detritus and feathers along the way.

These are things we shall have to find out when they get home.

.
The color that is painted across the sky and reflected in the water is simply astounding some evenings.
.

I accused Fisherhubby of doctoring these photos up they were so spectacular - - - he vows and declares this is exactly how they came out of his camera.

Love the Beach Boys intro!
How cool that you saw your high school friend. Sounds like fun.
I love the tea cup gift....I might have to steal that idea!

...that reminds me...I need to stop at Walmart too.

I bet the reunion was a lot of fun by the looks and smiles on your faces. 40 years, huh? Let's see...I've out of high school since...ummmmm, let me take my slippers off so I can count higher -- 47 years now? Whoa.

Our lawn is similar, but only 'cause we CAN'T water since the drought/water restrictions.

I bet you haven't changed much as all! You still look like a teenager! Enjoy your day....well, unless you have to go to Wally World! lol HUGS!

Love the frags! I see a few high school friends at Walmart :-0, and a few on Facebook. Some people don't know the difference between a cow or a bull! Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Have a great weekend.

Calling me out in the frags?!? LOL.

I love the birthday gift idea! I might have to remember that one for one of my besties. That photo at the top of your blog is beautiful. High school would be more fun now knowing what I now know. I'd blow past the drama and enjoy it a little more. I used to work with a Julie Sweeney from Wisconsin Rapids. She got married to someone from there, I can't remember his name. I went to the wedding so I've been to Wisconsin Rapids. Woo hoo! ;-)

charging bull? I feel sorry for the dog having owners like that.

Thanks so much for dropping by my place to read my Friday Frags :)

I love the little tea cups, and especially the poem that went along with them.

It would seem that you and I are having opposite problems with our grass! Ours is lush and green from too much rain.

I love the shots of the sky. They're simply beautiful!

Electicity, I think that's my new favorite word!

The class that graduated a year before me had their 20-year reunion last weekend... that means mine will be next year. I think I'm still mostly recognizable!

I am still laughing over the last photo - hahaha! The photos that your "husband did not doctor" are gorgeous!

I love cheesey! Gorgeous picture of the sunset on the lake. Wow. And your teacup idea and poem is so sweet and lovely. I might have to borrow that.

Those pictures are fabulous! I love when they come out of the camera looking that good... too bad it only happens every now and again.

I just endured my 30 year class reunion last fall. It was the first one I'd ever gone to and I'm guessing it will be the last. Ours was a large class and there was more than the normal pecking and fighting, I think. It may have gotten better over the years, but we'll never know. Only about 25 signed on for the reunion, the rest saying they never wanted to hear about it again. Facebook has reconnected a lot of us and actually I am friends through it that I wasn't friends with in school. I tend to agree with Jase Robertson from Duck Dynasty "If I haven't seen you in 20 years...there's probably a reason." LOL

I absolutely LOVE the teacup idea!
