Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Kids Camp 2013 - Where This Old Lady Goes Back to Camp

.
.

A week focused on the Wesleyan kids
In Wisconsin.
.
Time well spent in and on the shores of Lake Minnesuing,
Where EVERYBODY (except this old lady)
Swam and played even though - - -
.
The ice had only been off the lake for three weeks.

We THOUGHT this might be snow - - -
But it was only "dry fruit" (seeds attached)
Drifting down through the air and around our feet.
.
There were activities galore,
.
Old friends, and more.
.
I returned one tired gal,
But with some stories to tell.

Why are you sporting that clothes pin accessory,
You may well ask?

Leave your best guess in the comments
And return tomorrow for more camp
Photos in my SIMC post.

A bear stepped on your glasses?
Hey, I was a Wesleyan kid in Wisconsin, lo those many years ago.

No telling, but appears something to do with your glasses. Too, it could be a sweet token from one of the children. I admire you for doing this. I could not hold up to it.

I say a sweet child put that clothespin on your glasses so you wouldn't forget them! You look happy tired!

Fun post that brought back so many memories. Worked at a summer camp all through high school and loved it, thanks for the reminder of happy days.

Looks like you had lots of fun. I think you're glasses broke and the clothespin holds them together.

:-) Was worried not to see your link in the SIMC list. :D

Why the clothespin? Holding your spectacle frame in place? :D

I love the photo of you!

Your clothes pin antenna is your latest addition to enhance google glass so you can talk to aliens. I'm sure of it.

I was thinking broken glasses but why would they break at that point (only at camp maybe) -- maybe it's to remind you about something, or just being very cool. Were you on the clothespin team? Lots of ideas.

My guess is that it was part of a game. And that you won! :)

The clothes pin, hmm... Beats me, but it's cute. I'll be watching for the story and more about your trip.
