Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Sunday at Peepaw's

.

We have a standing date.
.
.
Whenever there is a 5th Sunday in a month
.
.
All of us who can, gather at Peepaw's house.
Fisherhubby and I drove 7 and a half hours
to be there for the September Sunday at Peepaw's.
.
.
Peepaw makes the main course -
He's quite the cook.
.
.
The rest of us bring side dishes and desserts.

.
The kids make a bee line for the same old box of toys

.
That our kids played with when they were
in their toy playing stage.

OK, so the boys stay boys and play
with them still, no matter their age.

.
We smile,

.
And laugh,

.
Meet the latest arrivals,

.
Catch up on all that's new,

.
And just enjoy spending time together.

.
This was our crowd on the 5th Sunday in September.
.
.
And we missed those who were too far away to come.

Maybe next time - - -

And that's what's been happening in my
neck of the woods,
What's been happening in yours?

What a fabulous way to get the family together. How wonderful that so many live close enough to continue the tradition.

We used to have family outings at my parents until Daddy died in 2003. We still get together but it's not the same. Lovely family.

What a darling crowd! Ijust had to keep going back to see the "latest arrival". She's so gorgeous, bless her! Babies are so sweet! Looks like a wonderful day, Keetha. Reminds me nostalgically of days at my Grandmother's house when all our relatives would land up, every Sunday. Thanks for sharing. So enjoyable!

Your whole gang is looking good. Who does that darling newest little person belong to? Or did you just borrow her for the pictures to throw us off the trail?

I like that. 5th Sunday - it's scheduled so you can plan around it, yet it feels random. Perfect!

Your dad is simply amazing to pull that off every 5th Sunday. You all seem to have such a good time together, and what a sweet baby girl! Love the photo of you and her!

You're so lucky to have a tradition like this.
Our family is spread out all over globe so we don't meet that often.

Such a wonderful tradition. I liked that you added that the boys are still boys and play with the toys. I can see mine doing that as well. Beautiful photos of your family.
