Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

My Yellow Wood

.
Sunday I snapped several photos of our Central Wisconsin Autumn splendor.

Such lovely color, or as the British say, colour.  And these hues are "muted" compared to a Fall not damped by drought.

I just can't help myself, they inspire me to quote Robert.

As in Robert Frost, for those of you with any doubts in your mind as to whom I mean when I say Robert.

Enjoy.

The Road NotTaken
.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
and sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
and looked down one as far as I could
to where it bent in the undergrowth;
.
.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
and having perhaps the better claim
because it was grassy and wanted wear;
though as for that, the passing there
had worn them really about the same,
.
.

And both that morning equally lay
in leaves no feet had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
and that has made all the difference.

Thanks to Robert for his insight into the value of the road less traveled by.  He was, and is, so right.

"The Road Not Taken" never gets old, does it? I love rereading it. I also love "Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Eve" in the wintertime.
