Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

It's BACK!!!!

.

I was beginning to feel just a bit left out.

I mean places that don't usually get snow this early, like along the eastern seaboard, have already had mammoth snow storms

And we here on the "Frozen Tundra" had been snowless - - - - until today.

Now we are getting it with a vengeance.

Last Saturday I told Fisherhubby to bring in those solar lights from around our patio. Obviously he thought he knew better than did I.

Oh well - - - perhaps THIS snow won't last on the ground until April.

Then again, perhaps it will.

Cass, my lilacs are leaning every which way but loose too. So far no breakage - - - but I expect it at any moment.

And the roads - - - oh the roads.

As you can see, it doesn't stop us up here on the Frozen Tundra. We can't LET it stop us or we'd be in our hidey holes from now until May.

You think I jest about May????? Not hardly. Last spring we were still getting the occasional flurry into mid May.

Oh boy, and you sound so cheerful about it! Here in the Uk if we get snow, we don't every year, the whole country grinds to a halt! No fun at all!

It looks beautiful. Be safe and enjoy your snow!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I'm so glad that the snow is falling for someone who appreciates it. ;) Feel free to keep it though, I had enough last year to last me awhile.

I hated the drought we had, but I certainly do not want what you are getting either. I can take the heat, but not the cold. Glad you are okay.

Gotta get our compost bins into the garage or our wormies will freeze!

I can only be cheery about the snow while I'm in the house. I don't care to fall, and I'm not ecstatic about driving in it either. Call me Cranky about the beautiful new snowfall. I'm calling down the forces of Meltiness!

It's only a matter of days before we get our share, too - however it was a rare 72' here today!!

Well, it's about time! We've had 3 bouts of snow already. But ours is mostly melted down here. The mountains....covered. Where it should be.
I, too, don't love driving in the snow. But the Subaru does great. maybe it's just the other drivers that I don't trust?
Welcome to winter-wonderland

Our snow was gone by the afternoon, but you had more. Is it sticking?

I'm living vicariously through you and your pics. We've been raining here every couple of days but I don't think that counts as a real "winter".

It looks pretty, but it's rather early to start, don't you think? I guess I'll enjoy mowing the lawn today and picking up leaves, though there's many more on the trees to still come down.

Oh girl, snow already? YIKES! I agree with Charlotte, no snow yet for the South! We usually have at least ONE good one:)

Have a blessed day my friend, HUGS

Oh yuck...yes, you got hit much worse than us. Maybe this reminder will force us to finish our outside tasks too...but my geraniums are still blooming!
Stay warm!

oh my, and so it begins. We still have not had a flake here! amazing but I feel it looming and laughing nasty little winter. I always love that my dad and step mom in Mississippi are so amazed that we go out in the stuff...as if pfft!

Yay for you! I know how much you love your snow. We were supposed to get 2-5 the other night but didn't even get an inch.

I'm jealous! I miss the snow!

Lovely snow! Today it was in the sixties, no wind and my lucky husband helped a friend tear off 3 layers of shingles on half the roof! I'll bet he was wishing for snow!

Our event lasted only the day. Temps warmed and melted all the slush. Still, it is a sign of Winter's rath is just around the corner. Oh goodie. I have the backyard picked up but the front needs another more leaf management before the vaccuum truck stops in early December. Oh these northern latitudes!

Already?? It seems way too early to see snow!

ACK!!!! I'm having nightmare flashbacks to the Halloween lilac-killer snow!
SCARY PICTURES.

Seriously -- will you have this all winter. Yikes.

That would send ME up a tree, too, but probably not with a bow and arrow.

Clearly you are made of stronger stuff than I.

And about our Master Bedroom ... you're supposed to put furniture in it? Who knew? :-P

Later, gator -- Cass
