Between working one volunteer job three mornings a week and putting in three part time shifts at the library, usually on three OTHER days, my life is broken into bits and pieces and fragments. This has rendered my blogging creativity to an all time low.
Good thing fragments are all the rage on Fridays over at Mrs. 4444's place!!!

You'll be sure to recognize me if you come into the library to surprise me, I'm the one that looks like this:

I'm back to being a "bookie" again now that it's college football season. I have so many people playing my "Pick 'Em" games this fall that I have to keep records in TWO books.Don't contact your local law enforcement - - - we play for the thrill of winning a virtual trophy and no money changes hands.
Maybe next fall some of YOU, my bloggy buddies, will want to play and I'll need THREE "books."

Speaking of Fisherhubby, I bet you can't even FIND him in this photo he's so well camouflaged!
While I was doing important things, like watching college football in my FBC, he was dinking around with hunting stuff like this. Goodness - - - no accounting for tastes!

Only thing, Misti gave birth to lovely little Morgan Irene and is no longer pregnant - - - - can't say the same thing for Uncle Jeff!
Grandpa Joe even left his beloved WARM Florida and made the trek to Sitka, Alaska to meet the new arrival.
Doesn't look like Carson is too happy to share Grandpa's lap with her new little sis!!!

And last, but certainly not least, I leave you with THIS "touching" sentiment from "Tomato Cards":

you are so hilarious -- i can't even pick one thing because it's everything!! you catch all of the simple beauty and humor in life. what a cute animal image of you and your aching back, but i hope you are okay. those darn books are heavy :)
good FF stuff - yeah that must have been an early prototype electric screwdriver. Florida - Alaska wow that's a long trip. Great card, maybe my older sister would like it.
That is one beautiful baby.
Great fragments. Now for my fragmented comments. I love how your bookie book has angels. LOL I love that Mario, Luigi and Wario are popular again. We've been doing trick-pr-treating on weekends at work and it's pretty popular. Maybe he can get a Yoshi to wear around his waist. Fisher hubby, scary. Is it me or does Morgan look like Misti? I guess it's fitting since she's her mother. Funny card but I winced like men do when they see another man hit down below.
Grampa Joe is amazing, traveling from Florida to Alaska! I can't see me doing that.
Stopping by from FF.
I love those pictures! I have one too of my FIL and me when I was pregnant. It was a lot of fun. So sweet that grandpa left such a warm place to see that darling!!
I would happily jump in that football thing, but I am an Iowa Hawkeye fan, you missed that one ;-)
Your little phrases at the left crack me up, I love them!!
From that first picture, I thought you were telling us you had an itchy butt!
Beautiful brand new baby, but I don't know if it would get me from Florida to Alaska....LOL!
I do believe you have more going on your life than anyone I know. I could not handle it anymore, but age does make a difference. You have one crazy fisher hubby. One thing far sure, you are never bored.
This was wonderful and gave me a good laugh which is just what I needed. Goodness Misti doesn't look like she just gave birth, she looks wonderful! Congrats to all!
Irene.....I LOVE that name. That is my daughter's name. And your Morgan Irene is too precious for words. [and no 2 am feedings to get up with...all you have to do is enjoy and 'give 'er back to mommy. LOL]
Sweet, sweet, sweet.
You seem to find things to post about, and funny as always. And you sound happily fragmented. Especially with all that football stuff. Have a good weekend!!
Love the card. Thank you for the laugh. Congratulations on the birth of Morgan. She is adorable!
Your Badgers are playing my Spartans this week. I'm sure one of us is going to be very disappointed at the final score!
Now that's a booby trap that I wouldn't want to find! haha
Misti, goodness. Too adorable for words.
Watching football RIGHT now! Fisherhubby is really dressed up:)
CUTEST little Morgan Irene! Congratulations on the addition to the family!
OUCH on the booby-trap! Have a wonderful weekend, HUGS!
Thaaaaaaat's better. You didn't leave Oklahoma out this week. I should do fragment fridays. I am always in fragments!
Now watch out for those booby traps!
My precious friend Keetha,
Its me....Leigh. I know you must think Ive forgotten you, or perhaps you have forgotten me. I can so relate to the beginning of your post. Seems these days I chase my tail end most of the time. Life as a mom, I know you know all about it. I just havent had time nor energy for blogging like I used to. I post things to keep my blog current, but as far as real thoughtful or personal post...I cant seem to find the time. I hope to again, bc I do enjoy it. Mostly...MAINLY bc of the special people I met and miss cooresponding with. Including you!
Please email me. Tell me how the kids are? The grands? I LOVE the header pic. How is life in your new digs and residence? Glad to see hubs is still fishing. And you are still the Keetha I adore.
Stay outta those boobie traps!
Love ya!
ROLL TIDE!
Leigh
I love your aching back rodent! How cute. And Morgan Irene is another lovely family member for us to watch grow.
Ohhh, the WI/ Spartan game. The pain!
These friday fragments were funny! I especially loved the booby trap card. Mostly. If it didn't have that little element of truth in it!
Oh ... that ... card!!! Heh.
Congrats on having a new baby join your family! So sweet.
I will have to tell my husband about Fisherhubby's antique tool. My hubs loves finding old tools.
That "aching sciatica" picture is HILARIOUS!!! LOVE IT!!!
This post just cracked me up. All of it! Thanks. (-:
