Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Fisherhubby ran out of gas in the middle of Lake Petenwell and his trolling motor battery is low on juice. Here I sit on the shore with a 5 gallon can of gas HOPING he can find me so I don't have to swim to him. I can't swim that well. I'll let you know the REST of Captain Ahab's adventures later.

Just leave the can on the shore and go back home! Just kidding:-) I'm sure he'll be fine after all he has you to come home to.

Only something like this could happen to you. Hope he had a paddle and knows how to use it.

I for one know how big that lake is and I know for sure you shouldn't try to swim it!!!!
It's the only place in Wisconsin where I have seen a huge, and I mean huge water snake!
Beware!
Hugs,
Cindy

Well???? Well?????? I can relate --having run out of gas myself in the middle of Peconic Bay, or been becalmed in a sailboat, hoping for a tow home from a helpful powerboat.

Hope Fisherhubby has oars!

As for my joining lots of link parties -- yes! And you can always recognize me at the parties -- I'm the one with the lampshade on my head.
Natch.
