Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Succotash - Bloggy Style

.
Today I'm giving you succotash - - - with nary a lima bean in it. For this is BLOGGY succotash which I often call Eclectic Bits (EB).

I noticed I haven't given you a TRUE EB since last August. Well, my goodness me, we're going to have to RECTIFY that.

EB 1

The other day Fisherhubby and I trundled down to the Cheese Factory - - - but we rode in the boring old conventional conveyance called a car.

A very cute little girl, bundled from head to toe in her Wisconsin Tundra finery came in THIS with her daddy leading the way! It was the CUTEST thing. I really wanted to get a picture of her in her little red wagon, but didn't want to go through the whole whoop-la about my blog in order to get her daddy's permission.

EB 2

The other day a package from my MIL arrived in the mail. In it, among other things, were these silver metal cookie cutters.

It seemed a waste to let them malinger in a drawer somewhere, and since I had a very narrow strip of wall, and since I'd been looking for just the right small objects to hang there, and since the cookie cutters came with hemp twine tied to them - - - THIS idea popped into my head.

I found some red cookie cutters which HAD been malingering in a drawer, bought a roll of hemp twine, tied the cutters together with several bows for effect - - -

And VOILA!!! They are hanging in that little narrow strip of wall between the entrance to the FBC and the kitchen.

Thank you, MIL, It will do very nicely.

EB 3

I tried once more to capture the snow diamonds with my camera.

This time they were sparkling in the night under the patio light. I think you can see MORE of them in this picture than any of the sun diamonds I tried to catch - - - - but my oh my there were FAR more of them than what you can see here.

I think it's a good thing I captured them that night, for the spring thaw has begun here. That's not to say we won't get any more snow in March for we probably will, but our 15+ inch base has begun to shrink quietly away.

It's just the quiet shrinking away time of year.

I would like to quietly shrink :) Not in height, but in girth! haha

I like how you described the scene and the empty cute little wagon. I do that same thing - explaining is too difficult.

The cutters are so sweet in their new spot :)

Well, aren't you a clever girl? Cute idea with the cookie cutters.

And, I love your football lamp in the other post, too!

You are getting things like you want them aren't you? That is always makes a new place begin to feel like home.

Love the diamonds!

That is excellent because I hate lima beans.

Love the snow diamonds! Something we don't have here for sure.

Actually, Katie put that shirt on Walker. If I had dressed him, he definitely would have been decked out in his favorite Hog shirt. However, I used that picture on my Christmas card and converted it to B&W, so everyone could imagine that he was in a red shirt.

We are really warm here, but we had more snow this winter than we've had in many years. Hope it's over. I love Spring.

I have cookie cutters on my wall too! Some are heart-in-hand, like my logo, but I also have a star and a snowman. So cute!

Wisconsin tundra finery! Spit, snort!

My only accessible cookie cutters are dog bone cutters. I'd never make rolled cookies for people! I can do pie crust, but rolled cookies are wayyyyyy too much work!

I just love the radio flyer with the top on it. How cute.
