Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

One Of These Frags Just Doesn't Belong Here

.
Ahhhhh, Friday Frags.  That time of the week when we all get together to rid our souls of the bits and pieces, fragments if you will, of useless - though possibly entertaining - information that have been collecting there.

Many thanks go to Mrs. 4444 for hosting this meme AND putting up with all of us.

I am once again LATE to the party - - - but here I come anyway, hoping late is better than never.

Oh my dear bloggy friends, THIS is the footwear that Fisherhubby deemed appropriate for Sunday-Go-To-Meetin' wear this past Sunday.

My attempt to dissuade him and get him into more church-worthy foot coverings was an abysmal FAIL.

I KNOW Jesus wore sandals, but I'm pretty sure He did NOT pair them with Packer socks.

Shaking my head.

This is little Miss Piper's latest artistic rendering.  It is, of course, her Mama and Daddy.

We do NOT know why her daddy needs to shave his entire face NOR why her mama looks like Jar Jar Binks.

My friend Eloise (pronounced E - Lois) and I went on a shopping adventure one day this week.  I'll talk more about the shopping part in my last frag of this post.

When we were hungry, we stopped at Chili's for lunch.

Imagine our surprise to find on our table a game/payment/internet terminal box.

We began to play the "kick a field goal" game.
.
.
It was a little harder than it looked - - - so exclamations of joy and high 10's were in order when Eloise kicked it through the uprights for the first time.

She is so fun.

Sister Pam, BIL Joe, their daughter Misti and her fam have gone to West Virginia for a wee fall get-away.
.
.
They've been taking in the sights, hiking,
.
.
And even biking for miles and miles.   After days full of all that - - -
.
.
Some of them have been found unwinding in the hot tub.

MOST of the frags of my week involve FOOD.  Dreaming of food - - - getting food - - - and ENJOYING food.

This was my supper tonight at our fave Mexican Restaurant.  It's called Jimidore con Pollo.

It is SOOOOOOO yummy I am forced to go ummmmmm, this is sooooo good - - - right out loud - - - with every bite I take.

Our sweet little Pipes is suffering terribly with her very first true love crush.

She's crushing on her young computer teacher at school.

Whenever he is around she gets red in the face and wears a goofy expression.

"He's pretty cute, isn't he???"  queried her mama when they were safely out of ear shot range of the school.

"No!!"  says Piper, "I HATE HIM."

Yep - - - it's gotta be true Kindergarten love.

Now, don't you DARE tell her I told.

When Eloise and I went shopping this week, it was for me to purchase some new bras.

Girls, I HATE shopping for bras - - - all that stripping down and trying on only to do it all again when the size is wrong.

Bucky here consented to model one of my new bras, though he was NOT happy to do it.
.
.
Mostly because, and I HANG MY HEAD IN SHAME TO ADMIT THIS, I have had to graduate into the infamous GRANNY BRA!!!!

I don't know WHY I am so shocked at this, for I AM MOST CERTAINLY a granny these days.

I guess I just didn't want to ADMIT I needed over sized sling shots to corral my boulders.

I also learned something rather more disturbing than graduation to granny bras in this process - - -
.
.
I learned that one of my girls "just doesn't belong here" because she is substantially larger than the other.

AND, as far as I know they do NOT make bras with a leftie DD and a rightie D.

So - - - I was forced to choose between suffocating leftie or allowing rightie to swam free.

I shall leave you to GUESS which I chose - - - suffocating or swimning.

And such is the life of a senior.

Mommy's Idea

And that's it for this week's edition of frags.

Please head over to Mrs. 4444's place
To check out more frags.

I'm pretty sure none of them
Will be as shocking as mine.

While you're there, why not join in the fun???

LOL! Just suffocate both of them and throw the bra away! Just kidding! As for Fisherhubby, just be glad he wore socks! Love Piper's drawing.

What a fun post to read!! All the interesting little bits of stories and adventures crammed into one post. It's like a newsy letter from an old friend. I don't know what you chose, but I would choose suffocating. I have times where I lost weight and was swimming in a too large cup and that is quite annoying. There! A little TMI from me!

Such cute frags! I don't think God minds the packer socks, at least hubby was there. And I'm so with you on the bra shopping! It's right up there with swimsuit and spanx shopping - yuch!

The important thing is that he went to church! Love Pipes crush, so darn cute. Didn't we all fall in love with one of our teachers??? I know I did! Love your bra story....LOL

Ha ha, poor Bucky, an embarrassing photo. I did the same type of shopping you did and came back with 3 different styles and colors, and I admit to being a senior too.
Your hubs is right, wear those socks with pride, even to church.
I am a UW grad and love those Packers and Bucky too.

what is a game/payment/internet terminal box?
Cute butterfly granddaughter -
Interesting how you identify which chair is yours with the bra.

You can't possibly cover up socks like that!

Piper is getting so big! I love kid drawings... my favorites are when they draw something that makes sense given the task, but ends up looking totally phallic! :-)

You take the cake! As my mom used to say. How could I not know about Granny bras? I'm way grannier than you are!
I'm just happy not to get my nipples caught in my belt loops.

Gravity---the law we must obey!

Oh, Piper's crush. I can still remember mine! And FH and his Packer socks? I agree with the person who said they are too cool to hide. God was happy he was at worship, plus he works for God all week long.

I don't think your bra looks that granny like!
Little piper is a doll, love her dancing attire!
Fisher hubby looks dressed like a true Wisconsinite!
It went gloomy and cold over here today, thank goodness the packers are winning or Dan would be a miserable man.

Those socks are cool, but I agree with you--not for church. Men can be very stubborn about wearing things at inappropriate times--it's a losing battle.

I think you look better in that drawing than your husband, except your eyes seem to be popping out of your head!

Bra dilemmas--ugh!

LOL!!! Yikes!!! I think I would choose the smaller size! Ugh!!! I just hate the thought of the granny bra! DANG!!!! and poor Bucky, an embarrassing photo indeed. I'm so glad you got out with a good friend to do that kind of shopping. It should not be done alone. She looks like one of my favorite aunts. I love Eloise's smile. AND as far as Fisher Daddy - you can dress him up (not really :) ) but you can't take him out. This is why my husband does not have sandals. He would do the same thing = except the socks would be Steelers socks. LOL!!! MEN!

Thanks for the laugh today! And I like the fall color I'm seeing on your blog (ex. header) even to your husby's church foot attire!

You, Keetha, are so delightful! I had to wait a few minutes to comment, because I can't see through the tears in my eyes - tears of mirth! The last frag tickled me endlessly! And I am sure I'll think of it at the most inappropriate moments, when I am required to be serious.

Piper's crush. So sweet. I love her sketch!

And I love those socks :D

Hugs and thanks for always making me smile, laugh and guffaw!

You have me laughing here this morning...thank you. Your husband's Packer attire would fit in perfectly at our church too. And yes, Jesus did wear sandals.

You crack me up! My breasts have gone crazy on me since I had kids and nursed. I have no idea what size they are and I don't want to know because it will just be a size I can't possibly find anywhere. Right now I just squeeze them into a sports bra and hope for the best.

Aging is so much fun isn't it??? Looks like you're posting a little more than me, but I've slowed down to a bare drip!

Love Fisherhubby's church shoes! That is just too funny! Hope he wasn't ushering! :)

Poor little baby girl! Having a crush on a teacher is so real at that age! Shhhh.....I won't tell!
