Many of you have asked where in the world I've been.

All I know is that after 7 plus years of blogging and a different lappy, which I don’t like, I seem to have lost my blogging fervor.

Someday, when you least expect it, I will post again.

For those of you still waiting I say thank you.

Meanwhile, I am rather prolific on twitter. Find me: @KeethaB

Oh, How I Miss You Angie

.
When I saw this particular blogfest on a friend's blog, I immediately knew I wanted to join and exactly who it was I wanted to talk about missing.
.

If you are missing some bloggers who no longer are blogging and you'd like to join in this fest just click here.

Several years ago I had a blog friend named Angie.

Angie and I bonded the way one does with certain bloggers.

I heard from her nearly every day, and soon found myself looking forward to those contacts.

Then suddenly she stopped commenting on my blog.  She stopped e-mailing.  I noticed pretty quickly because she had always been regular as clockwork with her blog following.

Then I got an e-mail from a mutual blogging friend confirming to me that Angie had indeed passed away.

There is still a gaping hole in my blogging world.  Who knew we could get so attached to folks who live across the ocean (Angie was in England) and whom we have never once met live and in the flesh.

Evidently no one knew Angie's blog password nor how to update it for her.  So, if you click over to her blog you will still find the very last post she ever made, making us laugh first and then telling us that she wasn't feeling very well.  Nothing more from her ever.

Here is a tribute I wrote to Angie just days after she passed away in January of 2011.

Angie - - - I'm STILL tearing up just thinking of you and how much I miss you.
.

Tribute to Angie
.
.
I am beyond sad today. I am stunned and shocked. Blogland is missing one of its own - - - one of its dearest.
.
.

Angie, of "Can You All Hear Me at the Back" passed away sometime on January 30th as a result of pneumonia.
.
.

Perhaps you would most recognize her by her cute little mouse avatar.

Angie "found" me and my blog somehow - - - in the way most of us "find" each other.

She had a sense of humor that just wouldn't quit. Life had dealt her plenty of lemons, but she insisted on making lemonade from them instead of groveling about in sourness.

Once she found me, she left comments on ALL my blog posts and even e-mailed me in between.

She made me feel like I was a special friend, though now I suspect that she had the GIFT for making many of us feel that way, because we were ALL special to her.

Angie - - - I am not ready to say good-bye to you yet. I feel that I had you "with" me too short a time. I shall miss your witty comments and humor more than I can say.

Rest in peace, my dear friend.

Oh how sad, I never knew her. One of my blogging buddies died, but her daughter had her password and left a post letting everyone know.

If I die, no one has my password so I suppose no one will know what happened to me. Weird thought.

She visited my blog, too, and she is dearly missed. :( Every time I see the phrase "warts and all" I think of her!

That's so sad. Too bad no one could post for her...I do have that covered! I read a few of her posts just now. It is amazing how you can get so attached to peeps you've never met!

Someone else had posted about missing Angie. So sad! She must've been a really nice lady!

That does happen from time to time, and you wonder ... and often never know. How sad, and how young she was. (relatively)

Thanks for posting that tribute to Angie! She was one of my first followers---thanks to you, and we had many interesting "talks" about nurses' training and living in the UK, and living with disabilities, etc. She was such a funny, fine lady. Just think how much the people who knew her in person must be feeling!

Keetha so nice of you to honor some of our fallen blogging friends. I have several I miss very much. Some passed away like CC and others just not blogging or health reasons. I really miss them as well.

Oh, this is so touching and sad~
It always amazes me how profoundly we touch each other! This was so endearing! Angie must of been a wonderful, touching soul-I too see her name mentioned elsewhere~

Thanks for sharing!

I didn't think I'd find anyone else posting about bloggers who passed away. I'm sorry your friend died. It really does leave a hole when someone we talk to all the time, even if we never meet them, is suddenly gone.

I'm sure Angie would be very touched. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Oh Keetha, This is a very sweet and touching post about someone who I am sure was just as sweet. She touched your heart the same way you touch mine. xo

Wonderful tribute! I never had the opportunity to get to know her, but it sounds like she was a great blogging friend.

Yours is a tough blog for me to follow, because while I had a lot of friends who attended UW, and are Badgers, I'm a Vikings fan, so I can't stand Green Bay! Still, thanks for playing along.

What a kind tribute!

It occurs to me that the same could happen to me, because with the exception of one person who lives locally and one who is a few hours away, no one knows that I have a blog!

So sweet and I know you miss her! I gave my password to my Daughter and hope she never has to use it... but just in case! We all get attached to each other even if we never meet, we are still special friends!

Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!

Hi Keetha - your friend Angie what a sad state of affairs .. I can quite believe you'll hold her in your heart for sometime ...

Important to think about those passwords and things ... someone else in the blogosphere .. thankfully her husband had her log-in and posted about her passing .. it's here in the list of entrants .. can't quite think where ..

Cheers Hilary

I feel so sad and choked up. Hugs! What a sobering post. I'd feel so devastated.

Hugs, Keetha! I don't know what to say. I know how it feels.

It's really sad when someone just doesn't blog anymore and sometimes we never know what happens .....I have tried and tried to get Russell to promise to post if I die.....but I know he won't!

It's so sad about Angie.
